The carnival will run Tuesday, May 27 through Saturday while the festival will be Saturday only from 11am - 7pm.  Please check back as the schedule will be updates when events are confirmed.

Under the Events Tent, located in the parking lot on the corner of Madison and Jackson:

  • 11:00 Scoop Stackin
  • 12:30 Scrumptious Sundae Celebration including the Hands-free Hungry Hunks Hoedown and Mayfield Massive Munchdown.
  • 2:30 Ice Cream Eating Contest
  • 3:30 Crankin' Contest
  • 5:00 Milk Chug-A-Lug

Keep McMinn Beautiful is sponsoring a Recycled Mayfield Milk Jug Art Contest.  Winners will be announced at the end of the festival.

Agricultural events will also take place in the fenced area on Madison Street.  Those include:

  • 2:00 - Cattle Judging Demonstration
  • 5:00 - Milking Contest
  • There will also be a livestock viewing area

There is plenty for the younger kids to do as well.  There well be a tent full of kids activities - face painting, pin the tail on the cow, balloons and many more kids activities sponsored by the Athens Optimist Club.
